TOPIC: Let’s talk The Bad Batch - SPOILERS

Since we have a little over a month before Loki starts, did anyone else watch the first episode of The Bad Batch?

I was actually surprised that it was pretty decent. I might even say good.

It's really just another season of Clone Wars which was consistently good after Ahsoka stops being terrible.

Including Kanan in the opening was a nice detail. Seeing Order 66 go down is always interesting for me.

I was glad they explained more about why they're different from the other clones. Having mutations that were then cultivated by the Kaminoans.

I feel like Omega is the big question going forward. I'm guessing she's force sensitive. She's accurate with a blaster despite not being trained and she knew Crosshairs was going to betray them. A bit more outlandish is she might be a clone of Jango and Palpatine since trying to clone himself was a big hobby.

They did a good job of tying in existing characters to a new storyline. Any guesses as to what Omega's enhanced ability is?

I have to disagree about CW being consistently good at any point. It definitely was good at times, It was down right terrible in the beginning. And still had cringey story arcs late in the series imo. Overall I am glad I finally watched it, but I could not rewatch it especially first couple seasons.

That said did think TBB started off strong. Adding twist of Omega being another special clone and Crosshair's betrayal were nice touches. I do think you could be on to something about Omega having some Palpatine in her. It might explain her hair. Though honestly I hope not, it would either open too many loose ends or be very tragic. I honestly didn't care about the Bad Batch clones beforehand, I felt their introduction in the CW was very forced and they felt too stereotypical boring characters. We shall see where they go from here, but I was impressed with the first episode.
