Corrected.

I think Vision is either a creaton of Wanda's within the bubble, or she is using someone to stand in for him. One example is that here Vision seems to have super speed, an ability I don't think he has in the MCU or comics.

Could the missing person be Simon Williams, aka Wonder Man? He does have super speed, and has a connection to Vision in the comics. However, he can't phase through objects, which we have seen Vision do.

I think Vision is the body of vision, hence the horrific sight of him we see in episode 4. To me his speed could be that he is part Pietro for Wanda. She hasn't has ever grieved for him in the MCU. So this Vision is a bit of a stand in for both. That is part of the reason that he is brought up in episode 3. To remind everyone that Wanda has lost a lot. Her parents, her brother and her 'lover'. And I am saying again she will lose her twins. As much as she is suffering or being manipulated now will be nothing when that happens. Not that she is a villain, but she will be a broken woman with extreme powers that even she doesn't fully understand or control.

We know Jimmy was based in the Bay Area because he was the FBI agent assigned to Scott Lang in Ant Man 2. So it's probably just that. Could be more, of course.

Yes, but that he is still based in California but is doing a check on someone in the witness protection in New Jersey, is might be something.

If it isn't just a hook to have a reason for Jimmy to be here, maybe it is someone that was a crook in one of the Ant-Man movies then? Or maybe... I don't think we know much about what happened to Scott's "crew" during the snap... maybe one of them fell back to crime and then turned witness?

Actually, the more I think down that line of things, the more I suspect/hope we'll see Michael Peña pop up at the end of WandaVision and do a rapid-fire recap of what's been going on.

It would make sense that the person in question would be originally from California, or else you just have Jimmy transfer to a location closer to NJ. Or don't mention at all that he flew in from Oakland. I though would love for it to be Luis. Michael Peña does such a great job with the character. Again maybe it is nothing but I do think whomever it is is someone and has a tie to California.

There are no Marvel properties that wouldn't be improved by a Michael Peña recap.

I do think the Vision is the animated body of the Vision, since we saw him in his "dead" state when Wanda's concentration weakened for a second. We did see him phase when he took the food out of his boss's throat when he was choking. I hope Vision comes out of this series alive, but I'm not optimistic.

I suspect we'll still see Quicksilver before the series is done. They said there was still a major actor that hadn't been revealed yet.

We could see Aaron Taylor-Johnson return as Quicksilver, though I doubt if we do, we will see Quicksilver alive. I also don't think Vision will be restored at the end of this limited series. I think this is really to setup Dr. Strange 2 where I think Vision will be restored. I have no reason behind this besides that Wanda is in the film and I could see her being key.

There is some logic to not resurrecting Vision until the Doctor Strange movie. For anyone who doesn't have Disney+ or access to WandaVision, it could be confusing if they tune in to the next Marvel movie and suddenly Vision is alive (i.e. didn't he die in Endgame?).

While I know they are working to integrate the TV series with the movies, I'm not sure they are that point where fans are required to see both to understand what's happening. Yes, you really do need to see the movies to understand the series (i.e. the "blip"), but I'm not sure they are ready to go the other way yet.

Look at it this way. If the series turns out to be nothing more than Wanda having a "break" due to the losses she's suffered and she needs to be brought back to her senses, will that really have a major impact to the next movie? Sure, it will provide some context and some cool fan moments, but the movie can quickly bring you up to speed without having seen the series. If they bring Vision all the way back, that's probably something that would require more than a one minute flashback to explain.

But, this is all just me thinking out loud. No matter what they do, I'm just enjoying that I can see all the comicbook heroes I grew up with brought to life. It's kind of weird to think there's a whole new generation where most have probably grown up with only the movie/TV versions of these heroes.

Maybe it all falls apart at the end and Vision is dead again, maybe Quicksilver is dead again, and she goes off the deep end as a result and that's what leads into Dr. Strange 2. For those that didn't see the mini-series, it would still make sense, because in Avengers Endgame she was clearly distraught at that point over Vision dying. I still suspect there's someone else behind everything like AIM/HYDRA/Mephisto and it's not all just Wanda.

It's going to be kind of hard to just paper everything over and have her be a normal hero in the next movie. I mean, she's basically kidnapped and enslaved a town of a few thousand people. There's a path back to herodom from that, but I'd feel some massive narrative whiplash if everyone is just cool with her by the time the miniseries ends.
