So we had the office...

My guess is next episode is taking Big Bang theory and we start getting more of the total explanation. Really clever the use of sitcoms and commercials

Though the opening was the office, I think Modern Family is closer to what they were going with. All the sitcom they have done have been family style imo. So I don't think it will be Big Bang, plus I think it would be a the wrong decade. I don't know what family sitcom of the 2010's they would use though.

Something I also just now thought of. ABC is owned by Disney.
1950's I Love Lucy CBS
1960's Bewitched ABC
1970's Brady Bunch ABC
1980's Family Ties NBC
1990's Skipped ?
2000's Malcom in the Middle Fox
2010's Modern Family ABC

Modern Family ran from '09-'20 so I'd argue it's the most 2010 family based sitcom possible. The Goldbergs or Blackish are the only ones I can think of that might fit if they continued, but I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the format of a show within a show at this point

The Goldbergs is the show I thought of but I don't think you can do a show for 2010's that is about the 1980's....but who knows. I do think you are correct they could drop the decade's premise, but I would think they would continue until they caught up. There being 9 episodes with 1 (episode 4?) not being part of premise that would take them to 2020's when MCU is (2023 right?)

Sorry Malcom in the Middle was the 2000's
Modern Family is 2010's so you are correct on that. I guess they skipped the 90's.

I'm thinking the show-within-a-show theme will be lessened, if not gone, for the last two episodes.

I think I love Lucy was definitely an influence on the first episode, but The Dick Van Dyke Show was at least as significant - I think I read that Dick was actually consulted for that episode.

They definitely borrowed some elements from The Dick Van Dyke Show. Ever episode borrow from multiple shows. Lucy though was the dominant one though for episode one.

My theory is that the ‘surprise cameo’ is either 1) Patrick Stewart or 2) Ian McKellan. I’m hoping it’s the latter—and that a “non-mutant” version was her dad in our reality.

I really want it to be Shuri with Visions memories. But it’s supposedly a guy that Bettany hasn’t worked with.
