<br />What seizure medication are they placing her on?<br />

<br />I don't remember the name, I think it starts with a K. She is on lots of medication for some rare problems, and it's one that they said won't react with anything.

The only reason I ask this is because I take seizure medication myself and I know that there are things to watch out for with some of them.<br /><br />Kim

I know that a lot of the newer medications are also used to treat migraines, so if she suffers from those it might assist with that as well.  You might also speak with the pharmacist when you get the medication filled to make sure that they concur with what the doctors are saying about the lack of interaction.<br /><br />Kim

I'll keep you and your mom in my thoughts and prayers. <br /><br />I lost my dad on September 5th from a massive and very sudden heart attack. If it wasn't for the support of family and friends I don't know what we would do.<br />

I'm sorry to hear about your dad.  When I was 20, I lost my day to a very sudden heart attack as well.  I know how tough it can be.<br /><br />Kim

She's very tired and weak. Seizures can take a lot out of you. <br /><br />They had to change her medicine already, because the first one gave her severe crying fits. The new on is called Trileptal. So far she is tolerating it will.
