Wow! Finally. Opened a missing package search request 2 weeks ago when my Gen Con badge went missing. 100% convinced they did nothing for the past two weeks but flag it in their system. This morning I opened a 2nd request asking for an update on my 1st request. Five hours later I have the package in hand. Was told the package was on a shelf where it belonged. Confirms they did nothing until they got a 2nd request.

Good news is that I have it.

Arg!!

Ok, sent in a transmute when it opened. On Monday it was finished and mailed back to me. It usually takes 2-3 days to get packages due to how close I live to Carbondale. So this is the tracking on it.

Now in the past, tracking usually goes Carbondale, St. Louis, Des Moines, Cedar Rapids to my house.

This is current.

I'm starting to get really curious about the USPS facility that we're seeing as "SAINT PAUL, MN 55131". It's not the regional processing & distribution center (P&DC), and suddenly all of these packages are ending up there, even ones that should never come near it. I'm IN Saint Paul, and every package I've had coming USPS for a while has touched this location, sometimes not being rescanned after "leaving" that facility for 36 hour or more. The zip code doesn't match with any property listings or zip maps which means it's probably just used for that facility, but I've never heard of this location while working professionally with the USPS. Why something otherwise intended for delivery in Iowa ending up there as well raises even more questions, human error/misrouting aside. Next time I have an encounter with the region reps out here I have to ask what the heck this is.

The package is back in Des Moines as of 2:30pm. So it should be back on track to be delivered tomorrow.

Last time I had package (Amazon) take a tour of the US, NY Philadelphia Miami Philadelphia and so on. When the package arrived, it looked like it was ran over by a truck.

Again, a package from TD is on a tour of the mid-west.

For perspectives, this is the route it should take.

This is the route it currently is on.

Sounds about right.

Still not as bizarre as my tokens from Milwaukee to Trent in Brooklyn first went to Hawaii, where it lingered for 3 days before heading back to the mainland.

The interesting ones are when they sit at a place for a while, go out somewhere, then come back to the same facility...
