Here we go. I mailed in my transmutes to TD on Monday, they arrived at and departed the first distribution center Monday night. There have been no updates in the past 36 hours other than to say they are in transit to the next destination and scheduled to arrive "on time", which would be Friday. Ridiculous. Every prior shipment to Carbondale took two days to arrive, not four. I can only hope they just stopped scanning the package and that it will still arrive sooner rather than later. Based on past shipments, it should have arrived in St. Louis yesterday afternoon, departed St. Louis and arrived in Carbondale early this morning. St. Louis, we have a problem.

Dave, same thing is happening to me with a big transmute shipment that includes 2 SoC.

Lazlo has the right idea. I think I'm going to wait until Gen Con/GHC for any more Relic+ transmutes; this is too stressful!

The last transmute I sent included a WLL, so I ensured it for several hundred dollars. I've never seen a package fly through the mail so fast. I sent the transmute on Monday, had it in my hands on Saturday.

This is a good hack. Just insure everything for large amounts and it will have fewer problems out of St. Louis.

I wonder if we could test it out and see if it works and if it does what the optimum insurance number is.

On one hand, I was thinking the same thing. But on the other hand I'm hoping this is the last time I have mail-in transmutes of any substantial value.

I dropped the $70 for 5k insurance on the transmute order I took the south east Michigan post office at about 1300 EST on Monday and now my package is out for delivery to Carbondale as of this morning.

Just some info to input to this speculation lol.

It's starting to feel like the added insurance helps. But if I have to drop an extra $70 on every transmute shipment I'm better off just driving them myself. I could have delivered them by Monday afternoon.

I mailed 7 priority packages very recently (6 were small boxes and 1 large).
They were going to CA, PA, TX, OH, IL, IA and NC.
PA and OH delivered today. CA is out for delivery currently.
TX package is in Texas expected delivery tomorrow.

IL, IA, and NC are apparently still in IN. Just for clarification I am in IN. And for anyone that doesn't know IL and IA are a lot closer than TX and CA.

IL and NC packages are supposed to arrive tomorrow.

IA though is scheduled till Friday.

As a counter-point, I spent the same on insurance and dropped mine off at the same time in Indiana. And it has not left Indiana yet according to tracking.

Your box might be hanging out with 3 of mine.

Normally I wouldn’t insure the package like this, but I’d like to play with my tokens in all the VTDs before Gen con. I imagine I won’t have any more 3-4K transmute shipments any time soon.

All those tokens broke an axle.

Yeah, the only times I've insured were that WLL package and I just insured my recent one because it's got two relics and a skull in it. It's definitely not a normal occurrence for me.

As another point of anecdata, I just sent another one with a chunk of insurance that went out Tuesday and isn't due in Carbondale until Saturday, compared to that first one making it there and back in a single day longer.

Ok, so insurance is no guarantee of faster delivery. We're back to results being all over the place. That kind of performance is usually not reflected in a well run business.

On another note. I sent two packages to Carbondale on Monday and one to Brooklyn. The one for Brooklyn has now arrived at the Brooklyn Distribution Center. So Trent, you can probably expect a package from me tomorrow. It's now over 40 hours since I've last heard from my Carbondale packages.
