I almost choked on my popcorn. So I had to share, though I hope now one chokes on food while they view.

It’s raaaaaaw.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

The pun comes from Ra vs. raw (as in serving undercooked food).

Better killing jokes than killing customers in your restaurant because you mistake Ra for raw, amiright?

Professional chef/celebrity/profanity and insult artist.

But I was not aware he regularly says "It's raw", nor did I equate raw and Ra.

This appears to be a scene from Hell’s Kitchen, reality TV show like the Apprentice. The contestants, all experienced chefs, just had to to make dinners for actual guests. The number of times people would screw things up was amazing. The most common mistake was undercooking the food. GR would come positively unglued when someone sent him pink chicken. “It’s RAAAAW!!!” Because, you know, he didn’t want to kill any customers.

Early in the season he’d often just shut everything down out of frustration, then someone got fired.

We watched it every week. It was a riot. It always made me grateful I wasn’t working for the guy.

If there is one thing to do to piss him off it is to send him raw food. I do find it humorous that he seems such an ass with the folks in Hell's Kitchen, but can be such a humble almost charming guy in Master Chef Junior or Uncharted.

Yep. Ramsay isn't actually an ass, he simply has a very low tolerance for idiots. It's just the nature of running a professional kitchen.

Remove him from that, and he actually *is* a humble, charming man who wants nothing more than for everyone to succeed.
