That isn't a bad idea.

My note said for one of my group to keep any he wanted and then sell the rest to XXXXX. Then split the money between certain parties.

Mine is quite similar. They should all be shipped to a specific TD friend, and she can "Do with them as she pleases" ... which I'm pretty sure means she'll keep the ones she wants for her build, share a few with certain folks who we know, and Auction anything else to raise money to fight Cancer.

Or, ya know, she could sell 'em on eBay and put the money towards her next GenCon trips. Or art supplies for her Sig. Other. Or car repairs. I'm honestly fine with whatever she decides, so long as my executors don't say, "What? More gaming crap? Throw these round thingies on the pile with the LARP chits and character sheets and broken costume bits heading to the dump."

First of all, Rogan, I had no idea! Two skydivers playing True Dungeon. Although sadly I'm solidly an "ex Skydiver" unfortunately.

Secondly, looks like the weight limit for indoor skydiving, at least at iFly, is 300lb. This is a great experience, it truly feels like freefall, because freefall feels like you are floating, which is what you are doing at iFly.

Why the weight limit? As Rogan said, for skydiving, the parachute system is only designed for so much weight. Additionally the bigger the student the less control the tandem instructor has during the freefall. Arguably if you found a strong enough 100lb person they could take a 300lb person on a tandem jump and collectively they'd be OK on the weight, but that 100lb person would not only have trouble getting to the plane, they'd also have poor control during freefall.

Not sure why they have limits for indoor skydiving. Probably safety for the student and the guy in the tunnel helping you. Say 400lb falling even 10 feet is going to hurt for both people.

Interesting. When I checked iFly, it was 240# as well.

Time to look again!

It's been a few years for me, but when I retire next year I want to get back into it full-time. I can't wait until GenCon and swap stories with you. The only thing missing will be a bonfire. LOL!!

Unless you jump from a building or hot air balloon. Then it feels like falling. LOL!! UNLESS(!) you have enough height to go into a track at which point it will feel like flying. ;-)
