TOPIC: Avengers EndGame discussion. SPOILERS!

Just got back from seeing it and finally opened the thread. What? No spoilers? Here goes. Yes, it is 3 hours long and don't forget the 15 to 20 minutes of trailers beforehand. There may have been some fighting at some point. Someone does win...the audience. Loved it.

Pretty great, lots of fan service, but it was a 3 hr movie that didn’t feel like 3 hrs which is a huge accomplishment. Hilarious how Thanos died in the first 10 min. A ton of comedy overall really. Fat Thor was great. Also I was amused how Captain Marvel is so OP but was absent for most of the movie... seems like it would’ve been way easier if she were around the whole time. She just shows up at the key moment to ensure the victory. Thanks for being fashionably late.

The beginning and ending hit me in the feels. The rest was pretty good. Didn't like some. Will post more when I've had time to digest it all

Yeah, it kind of felt like they wrote themselves into a corner with her being so powerful. The only way they could slow her down was to not have her around.

Anyone else feel slightly less enthused about a Black Widow movie now? I mean, they can still do one and have it take place in the past, but it almost feels like "why bother".

But overall, I really loved it and am already planning for another viewing.

I have issues with the ramifactions of the time travel because they just seemed to not worry about the parts of the time line they changed. But there are very few movies that do time travel well. That said I enjoyed it most. Not certain when Tony Stark became ‘smarter’ than Bruce Banner was my one real compliant. Banner should be one of the most intelligent being on the plannet if not the Marvel universe. Tony is a excellent engineer but Banner knows nuclear physics so when he says it is not his field.....anyway.

Found it. He is the boy from Ironman 3.

I didn't catch that he was the boy from 3....that's who is going to put on the armor.

Same question, but assume that may be answered in the Disney+ Loki series that is planned. Feige said the Disney+ series would be closely aligned with the cinematic universe. I hope that's true and not just the occasional mention like they've done with other series.

Some of the things Thor's mom said to him really made me wonder if it could be Loki in disguise.
