The connection between metal music and fantasy is strong!

Any metalheads here? Share what you're blasting lately.

Something from the new Haiduk album 'Exomancer'
[black metal] [fantasy concepts, D&D-style artwork)

D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Are you looking for fantasy-metal specific? What's your genre?

Raging metalhead here, but have most of my likes firmly rooted in 90's-2000's heavy metal and thrash.
Friendly neighbourhood NPC. Do not rob, maim or kill. Else you take 50 points of irresistible damage and I come back to betray you in the next room.

They sound pretty good. I never got into much doom except for some My Dying Bride. I enjoy faster stuff.

Lamb of God is one of my favourites. They’re making a new album, but here’s one of their recent songs I’m all about.

Old school metalhead here. Metal record collector, and budget audiophile. Favorite bands, Opeth, Iron Maiden, Kreator, Voivod, Bathory, Venom. Also love prog rock/metal like Kataronia, Rush, Soen, Porcupine Tree. Currently listening to the recently acquired extended edition LP of Sepultura's Chaos A.D.
