TOPIC: Snootch to the Nootch

Snootch to the Nootch 17 years 9 months ago #1

Ok, I had to pirating type this in pirating Word first and use the pirating “find and replace” feature to edit out all the bad pirating words. Watching Kevin pirating Smith movies does bad pirating things to my language. :evil6:

I just saw Clerks II, and it was pirating awesome. :headbang: Some of the funniest pirating pirate I’ve seen in years. Jason Mewes was in fine form, and also stole the pirating movie with the most disturbing pirating scene. Which is pretty amazing in a movie with a whole pirating section about a pirating Donkey show (like the ones they have in pirating Tijuana).

Anyway, I give it two thumbs up. :icon_thumright: :icon_thumright:
I guess I should post a disclaimer that the easily offended better steer clear of this one. It's 10 times worse than a post from Henwy. :laughing6:

I went and saw Clerks II on Sunday. I thought it was mediocre. I liked Mallrats, Dogma, and Jay and Silent Bob Strike back better.

Jay and Silent Bob is still my favorite, but I enjoyed Clerks II a lot.

There were some really sweet moments between Dante and Randall and it was a great exploration of what happens when friends get older and women and goals start to intrude on friendships.

With that said, I think Kevin was trying a little too hard to be shocking. I really enjoyed the movie, but thought most of the "extreme" stuff was unnecessary. I would rather have seen more scenes of the "LotR vs. Star Wars" variety. (The original Clerks had some raunchy stuff in it, but most of it was great discussions about relationships, menial jobs, and just everyday life. The "Death Star" contractors bit in the original was one of the best pop culture references in any film ever.)
Pffft. That may be true as it applies to posts _here_. After all, I have to self censor so Fritz dosen't bring the smack down. One day, I'm sure she'll come aroudn to my way of thinking and then I can loose the hounds of hell.
