In real life you have been one of the most friendly and helpful players I've met to date. I'm sure Karma has ensured that you are surrounded by caring people now when you need them.

Update: Valetutto is off the ventilator, sitting up, and talking. I gave him all your well wishes, and he was very moved.

When I read strep earlier I actually gasped. Back in High school I had a septicemic strep infection that would flare up and go dormant and then flare again. My doctor thought it was a virus because throat cultures always came back negative.

It wasn't found for over a year and a half until I switched doctors. Every few months it would flare up for a few days. I'd be so sick I was delirious for a few days then it would subside. Couldn't even walk without holding onto a pillow. For some reason clutching the pillow made the dizziness and disorientation a little less.

The new doctor told me what could have happened and to watch out for future strep infections. I was very lucky it hadn't gotten worse.

You, Mark and your family are in my thoughts and prays. Here's to a speedy recovery.
