TOPIC: Great news!

Congratulations on the grandbaby! Yet another new TD'r coming into the world. Muah ha ha!

So its been a couple days, are you gonna spill the beans or what???<br />Teehee.

LOL!  Spill the bean about what? I've told you'all I'm going to be a Grandma.  That's all I know at this time.  LOL.  Em.......what would you like to know? tee hee.

<br />At this point, we do not know.  Tomorrow my daughter will find out how many.<br />

Ahhhhhh, now I understand. <br /><br />My daughter was getting help from the doctor to get pregnant - when she went, I told her to make sure she told the Doctor that multiples run very strongly in our family. (Mother's side - a Grandmother that was a twin that had twins and an Aunt that had triplets naturally.  Father's side - Grandmother that had two sets of twins.) <br /><br />So the first time she had help from the doctor, she was told that she might have SEVEN children if they all were fertalized! (It didn't take.)  This past time, it seems there is only one.  Or to quote my daughter, " It looks like, at this time, that there is only one child."  Ultra sound being what it is sometimes, the first test may have missed something.  Don't know the sex yet, but they have scheduled for December 12, 2006.  What a great Christmas present!<br /><br />Sorry guys, I know this is TMI, but this is my first grandchild.  =D<br />

That is what I figured, that it was something along the lines of either multiple births ran strong in the family line, or there was medical assistance. A bit of both definitely increases the chances.<br /><br />Lemmie know, so I know how many baby blankets, Okay?<br />*smiles*<br />And congrats to the family.

Grandma at 35 years? Wow, that's young.

For those who may be interested - <br /><br />I will have a grand daughter. Her name will be Jasmine.<br /><br /><br />I saw the ultrasound today for the first time - very exciting stuff.  Little wiggle toes looked like she was doing fine.
