TOPIC: Are you a Lycan?

Things are slowish while the DF kickstarter is fulfilling so how about a game

Its a simple game for which we will need at least 5 players (but a full party would be more fun)

It seems that not everyone escaped this years Lycans afoot run unchanged. Someone (maybe more then one someones) have become werewolves and we are trapped on an airship with them!

The rules are simple.
1) Post here with what class you want to play, then feel free to talk amongst yourselves.
2) Once we have a party I will PM one (or some) of you and inform you if you are the werewolves, and the werewolves will then PM me back to tell me who they wish to devour.


From there the game takes place in turns. One night (lycans) followed by a day turn (the party).

During the day if you have not been devoured during the night you may talk amongst yourselves as wish and vote (on this thread) as to who you think the werewolf is.

At the end of the parties turn the votes will be tabulated and (sadly) the suspected werewolf will be killed.

Once you are dead you can no longer talk or vote.

After the parties turn comes the Lycans turn during which the party sleeps and the werewolves will inform me of their dinner selection by PM and I will post the results here at which time the turn will start over.

The game will continue thusly until either the party or the lycans have been destroyed...


Class choices are as follows

Fighter/Dwarf fighter: Combat Focus: Once per game the either fighter may call for a double combat round. (ie two votes, two lynchings)

Paladin: Guard: the Paladin can guard one player per night. That player cannot be devoured.

Cleric: Healing, Once per game the cleric may restore to life a character killed on the previous turn.

Wizard/Elf Wizard: Blink: Once per game the wizard use blink to avid being killed during the day.

Rogue: Sneak attack: Once per game the rogue may kill a player during the day or night without need for a vote.

Ranger: Dual weapon specialization: The Ranger may vote twice per day.

Bard: Lore: Once per day/turn the bard can PM the GM to ask if a single player is the werewolf (its up the bard if he wishes to share this information).

Barb: Rage: The barbarian may kill one other character when lynched.

Druid: Shape-shifter: Once per game the druid may PM the GM to switch teams.

Monk: Iron-body: the Monk must be devoured twice in order to be killed at night.

I'll give it a go. Put me down for Bard.

You could give the barbarian the hunter ability, in the flavor of 'fight after death'. When barbar is killed, they immediately choose someone else who is also killed.

No thanks, barbar ability just seemed a bit weak compared to others

I'll take barbarian, as long as people remember that I'm a vindictive .....um... Witch.

Just remember the paladin is immune naturally.
