TOPIC: Contrasts

The "Nothing to Prove" thread got me thinking about stereotypes.
My wife and I have often said that there are no friends of ours that share all our interests.

So, what interests of yours seem most stereotypically contradictory?

For example, I am an avid organic gardener and love flower shows.
I also play Ice Hockey.

Other than at GenCon, I don't encounter any running geeks.

Between game nights, my wife and I square dance!

Gaming and the BDSM Lifestyle. My wife and I can't find friends that are into both.

My fiance and I met because of swing dancing. That's one thing we don't have to worry as we plan our rapidly upcoming wedding - the first dance needs no practicing.

I am also a classically trained cellist who toys with trying to be a rock star, if I ever find a way to pursue both that and ministry.

I am a professional geek and a semi-professional jock.
I spend much of my time shoving myself into lockers.

MMORPGs and bridge (I bid and made what I think was my first 7NT game on Monday!)

I know a dozen people who are gamers and into the BDSM lifestyle. However, I will acknowledge that they do not overlap the "Friends of Ro-gan" circle in my Venn Diagram.
