I am getting in a car and driving 5 hours south. Now, don't ask me which car we're getting into yet . . .

20 minutes drive and park for free and then walk for about 15 minutes to get back to the Convention Center.

Always before it was about an hour drive south. This year it will be an 800 mile drive north with half the clan for the birth of my first great grandson, then an hour drive south a week or so later.

Where are you getting the free parking? I hate paying for the garages after my 15 min drive...;)

There are areas of the city where you don't have to pay for parking. It is a bit of a hike back to the CC though I wasn't exaggerating when I said 15 minutes. If you want more details you can PM me as I don't want to give up my favorite spot to everyone.
