TOPIC: Congrats Jeff and DF : Kickstarter funded

Re: Congrats Jeff and DF : Kickstarter funded 11 years 3 weeks ago #25

It is funny to read the Forums on the Dwarven Forge Kickstater. Many of the comments about the Stretch goals sound folks talking about the next set of True Dungeon tokens. Some people want more basic walls, other people want new pieces and the third group is clamoring for Add-ons. (Everyone want MORE, MORE, MORE) And people saying if they don't get what they want, they will reduce their buys.

I am sure Jeff is used to it by now but I bet Stefan is very confused.

Alright, well, I'm in for two sets (painted). Just hope we make it to the diagonal walls.

There still well over 30 days we got this.

My guess is DF will end up getting beyond $800,000 (or much farther) so the diagonal walls ($400,000) and floor ($475,000) are fairly safe.

They got $23,000 in pledges today. If that rate holds up we should be getting the first Diagonal walls late Monday or early Tuesday.

I assume DF is planning some add-on so that will also give things a boost.

Now you all know where I have been these past weeks...

Thanks for the congrats. It has been a HUGE amount of work, but it is worth it to bring inexpensive yet more durable 3D terrain to the gaming masses. Every game store in the USA should buy a 10-set deal just so they can have this stuff on hand for gamers to use. It really does add a whole new dimension to traditional 2D eraser-mat gaming.

Thanks for spreading the news!

I'm thinking I might have to bump up to three sets and do one of each add-on.

But you know what this really needs? Stairs.
