Took four people mashing buttons at precisely 11am CST, but got first pick. Probably helped that it wasn't Embassy Suites.

Got in about 7-8 minutes in due to the website being a pain. Once I got in all connected hotels were booked or didn't have Sunday/Monday openings. Just went online to Crown Plaza and booked it there. Cost a bit more but got a room and a connected hotel.

I was lucky enough to get a room at the Embassy Suites. I think they sold out of suites in about 5 minutes.

I ended up at the staybridge, a fair walk from the center.

But at a fairly good price since I;m staying 2 weeks.

I got in the Hilton Garden @ 10 West. It is right by the circle, but luckily close to the CVS, and only about three or four blocks from the Con.

As usual the process getting anything via the Gen Con website was painful!
