I'll try to find my microphone tonight and record it in my most neutral french. Perhaps I could give you a taste of french canadian accent.

Spiffy! Usually if I hear an accent I can pick it up relatively well/quick.
I have too much fun with accents. Last year I had been doing my ren speak most of the con but I was losing my voice. So I told a player something on a one to one basis using my regular voice. And a player who had been through multiple times asked what accent I had just done. So I explained to them that was my normal voice. And they exclaimed, 'You're Not Brittish?!?'
LOL!
Come to think of it, you did sound a little British last year...

When I started my lastest job a couple years back, someone asked me if I was British...Not sure why--I don't think I talk with an British accent, but I do watch a lot of Brit comedies! They are bang-on!

I've also had people convinced I was from Ireland, and wales due to an accent. I also can do a good southern drawl. ;)
One time, my brother had me call and leave a voice message on his friends phone as part of a prank using my southern drawl.
hehehehehe

I don't have too much trouble with an Indiana accent. But I'm much better with my Minnesotan and Dakotan. Don'cha know, eh? =D

I tend to start mimicking (poorly) whatever accent I'm around. I think I spoke like Joyus for two days after SoCal.

When I was little I had a VERY STRONG South Texas accent. (If y'all ever want to hear a tape of a 4-yr-old singing Christmas carols with a hilarious southern drawl, let me know :tongue3:) It faded over the years, since we left Texas when I was five. I can sometimes call it up at will, but what usually works is hanging around my Dad or my cousins. :icon_thumright:

I can adjust my accent to match others.
Thats how I got the gentleman asking me if I was from wales. I started up the conversation with an accent. Sorry I was in a heraldry shop and he had an accent, it just came out. So I would tweak my accent based on how his sounded and how he said things. So I looked up family names.
Eventually, he's all excuse m' dear are you from Wales? *smiles* ehehehehe.
Accents are too much fun. hehehe *smiles*
