I love trying to figure it out based on similarities to English and Spanish (which I no a very little bit of). <br /><br />I think the first sentence says something about if you need someone to speak French, you can ask me. The second sentence says you speak French very well, and then something I can't figure out.<br /><br />Am I close??

I think what he actually said was something along the lines of ...<br /><br />"Hello, I invite everyone to eat french fries. French fries are very good with soup."<br /><br />Now, where did my application to the UN go...

<br /><br />Babelfish is always good for a laugh.  My wife speaks fluent Spanish and several of our friends use Spanish as their first language.  She sometimes forwards me emails from one of our Spanish speaking firends after forgetting that while my Spanish might have been OK 15 years ago it sucks big ones now.  I often try to use Babelfish to figure out parts of the email that are confusing but more often than not I'm more confused by Babelfish's translation than I am mine.<br /><br />As for French, all you need to know is "reculer". "Reculez! Reculez!"<br />
