Ah...now it makes sense why you had ME lead, and then get gobbled by the Gelatinous Cube..(And eventually freed, after being damaged by my own party).

It all makes sense now.

I think an interesting painting would be the offering of the Squid pearl/egg to the squid, but with a little more dramatic flair like throwing it or something of the like.
