*hugs* Thanks Magic Mouth. :)

And *hugs* Thanks everyone!

I hope it didn't seem like I was trying to rudely correct you Marinda. I just wanted to make sure the others knew that dyed is acceptable according to the guidelines on donation. I think though, they changed that within the last few years as that seems to be a common thought.
Also if you note, on that page, I thought it was interesting that most donations are from other children. *smiles*

p.s. Bro, you need to post more often. ;)
Come on, you know you want to!

I say cut it... DURING THE CON!!! Yeah, yeah... make it one of the tavern games!! :-P

I'd agree with MagMouth - it will look great either way. You wore it up so much last year that I didn't realize it was that long!

The pic above was taken within a couple days after I cut it in feb last year. It was probably at about where the black trim is on the corset in the pic at Indy. And yes I had it up most the time or in a braid.

As for during the con is there someone willing to cut it and trim it so that its even for me?
I don't/can't cut hair. My mom lops the pony tail off for locks of love and then evens it cause you can't cut it off even. I grow it out for about 16 months and repeat.
Also who's going to clean up from the hair trimming? Its not like we can just whip out a vacuum.
And who's going to keep one of those warriors from grabbing the cut pony tail and whirling it around over their head warcrying? ;)

I think you need to iron out a few kinks before I let you boys brandish scissors in the Tavern. But I'd might be game.

Well, if I can make my horse's mane have a nice, straight bottom and still look "natural" at the same time, I'm pretty sure I can even out your hair.

As for keeping the cut section away from the barbarian hordes wanting it for a souvenier, I think we'll need support troups.

I just had a rather odd image in my head of a horde or barbarians chasing the two of you around the tavern waving safety-scissors.

I'm sure I saw "a lock of hair from a fairy's head" as one of the new token ingredients... didn't I see that? Willingly given of course. I wouldn't want it to become the replacement for "steal the cheese."

Indy,
All I have to say is, its a good thing then I'm a pixie and not a fairy. ;)

ehehehhee, and Magic Mouth, while as inviting as that sounds, I mean its hard to beat only a few scars! But I wouldn't want to offend our dear Lesimony who volunteered first, if this should actually go through.
hehehehehehee
by the by Indy and Magic Mouth, funny stuff! Guys never lose your sense of humor! heheheehe. Thanks for the laugh.

So Lesimony who will be the support troops, and do you think we can get any more victims? ehheehehe
And again, what about the hair mess? *little laugh*

I'm going to be buying one of those latex swords to go with my costume this year. I'd be happy to help defend you against the horde of barbarians! Also, I'm pretty sure if worse came to worse, I could remember a few things from those Tae Kwon Do lessons years ago.

Well, Kevin looks big and intimidating. Until people find out how sweet and shy he is. ;)

And we can always "borrow" a sheet from the hotel as a dropcloth.

Maybe we should put up a sign, saying we're having a "Locks of Love" party on Saturday night. Free haircuts of healthy, unbleached, 10" or longer hair. *giggle*
