Hey Y'all,

Am cleaning out my closet, and I have some cloaks(4 possibly) I'm looking to give away to make a bit of room. They were among some of the first ones I made when I was learning. So they aren't fancy. Usually fabric that I could get for a buck or two a yard.

One of my brothers has my camera so I'll take and post pictures later.
Right now two are washing, the white was rather dingy from a couple years in the closet. Will describe those later after I see how they clean up.

There is Sage twill shaped shoulder cloak with a tasseled pointed hood, and cleric length capelet, fully lined in a dark charcoal satin, has a double black frog closure.

Also, there is a Brown twill gathered cape, has a cleric length capelet, and tall collar. Has no clasp or closure on it.

All will get washed as they have been sitting in the closet for sometime. Will photograph as soon as possible.
Please comment if you are interested in giving these cloaks a good home.
Thanks.

I could take one, been looking to get a hooded cloak.
Its funny how something that takes multiple days to set up comes down in a few hours...

I'll try to put pictures up later this afternoon/evening when my camera gets back home. Most that I'm giving away are probably more styled to ladies. :\

Depending on your build the sage one might work. The brown one is from a man's cloak pattern, but has no hood. :\
Alas, a few misfit cloaks, looking for the right home.

**edit**
Update:
Okay, nix on the white ones. One shrank horribly, and the other I just wasn't happy with how it washed up so I just cut off the clasps and tossed them.

But, have decided to toss another cloak into the grab ring:
It is a full length(will hit the floor at 5' 10") shaped shoulder cape with curved collar that can be worn up or folded down. Will fit a size small/medium.
It is made from a true black crepe solid, easy to care for fabric, very resitant to wrinkles. Has been in closet for over a year and half, still does not need pressed!

Has a antique silver look clasp:

Any Size 4 or 6 Gals???
I have a couple gowns I made back when I was learning that I never wear. Would rather see them used.
Old picture, not the greatest quality picture. Sorry will try and get a better one later today. The color blanches me out, so I've never worn it anywhere. Dress is fully lined.

Another gown:
Has lacing in the back so it can be pulled in to fit comfortably. Not lined, except in bust area. Should be worn with an underdress or petticoat. Am keeping my underdress as I use it with another dress. Drape can be hung loose or tucked in lacing if desired. Fun sleeve style. Only wore it once to an event I considered Formal. My aunt accused me of being pretentious, and I haven't been able to bring myself to wear it again.

I also have a couple small and medium broadcloth gypsy blouses(think mid drift peasant blouse), most with cap sleeves. A couple black and a couple royal blue.
Will email pic, but um yeah, no way I'm posting those here! *little laugh* So Lesimony don't even try to egg that on! I would have to throw fruit loops at you!

There you go, spoiling all my fun again. *pout*

I wish I wasn't so much larger than you. None of the items I like are big enough to fit me. *sigh*

Sorry hun, even friends who have promised not to laugh, laughed at those pictures! You've tease me about them. And some posters have shown themselves to be less than 100% gentlemen and I don't need the grief about how pale my tummy.
I had more than enough grief to deal with yesterday!

Sorry to spoil your fun, but no gypsy blouse pictures posting. But I'm sure there will be something else to amuse you. *hugs*

The shade of this black fabric I swear is impossible to photograph!!! Pic so does no justice, but at least it will give you sorta an idea of how it looks.

Any Takers?

Dave, you mentioned your wife might be interested in one. Please let me know which, now that you are able to get a look at them. I thought of the three the black one would be most likely.
