*grumble, grumble, grumble*
I'm sick. I have a cold. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO HAVE A COLD!! :x

Ok, just had to get that off my chest. Now if only I could get the congestion OUT of my chest. Not to mention my head. Please send good thoughts my way that I'll be better before I have to fly. I have a history of eardrum problems on planes. As in they get micro-perforations and start to bleed if my sinuses are too congested. *le sigh*

But on a good note, I did finish another of my projects for SoCal today. And I've finished Kevin's and my bracers. I just have to finish my corset and make our belts, and finish a few other small TD projects. Mainly the name badges, but I have almost everyone's info now.

Hiya Sweetie,

I hope you get feeling better real soon!!!!
If you need some good news to cheer you up I've been working on your bodice today and its coming along quite well. *Smiles*
Its been put on a hold this afternoon/evening to work on a blouse order I received. But don't worry it'll be done in plenty of time.
If I'm stuck in the house all day tomorrow which I think I will then I should manage to get it done!
If I actually manage to somehow to get to a childhood friend's wedding, then it may be finished saturday.
May I just say, that not being able to drive really nibbles sometimes!

Get Better Soon!!! *sends many hugs and chicken soup*

Heidi, Heidi, Heidi.....who do you think you are...ME? I always get either sick or injured (or BOTH!) right before the conventions. What is up with that? Perhaps we're not eating right and not getting enough rest. It always happens to me a couple of weeks before the conventions, when we're in CRUNCH mode, and then it hangs on forever 'cause I "ain't got time to bleed". (movie quote)

So, take care, get some rest, and get better before you take off!

Thanks DD and Lori,

I'm feeling a little better, but still have a lot of congestion. If all else fails, I'll have to use a ton of Afrin before I get on the plane.

I guess I should be happy I got sick now instead of at the con, like Kevin and I both did at Indy.

And I'm actually staying off my horse between now and SoCal, because I was worried he might buck me off again. I'd hate to break something now. ;)

DD, don't kill yourself to finish the bodice to soon. We can always do a final fitting when we meet at D'land on Sunday, and you can finish it that night. :D

Oh, and Kevin won't want to do costumes that day. He has to wear his "comfortable clothes" to enjoy himself. And his costume shoes don't have a lift on the left foot, which he has to have to survive that much walking.

lesimony, you might try chewing on a piece of gensing root. it usually helps me out when i can find it. i have to go into the woods and dig it myself, but it works for me. of course it could all be in my head. hope you get to feeling better.

Where do you find Gensing Root in Louisville?
Its funny how something that takes multiple days to set up comes down in a few hours...

Nah I won't kill myself, just keeping myself extremely busy to off set being stuck in the house so much lately so I don't go stircrazy. On the other hand the yard has never looked so good. *little laugh* Well at least after I rake it. An hour later though with that wind blasted tree you'd never know I'd done it! Doh well at least I know it was done.

Like I said we will have to see if there is anyone who can drive me down there. Mesa no have drivers license.
And understandable about comfy clothes!
So would I embarrass you guys if I went in a peasant blouse and bodice with my jeans? ;)
After all have to take my barmaid bodice for a trial wear. ;)

Anyone else going that I have to consult to make sure I wouldn't be embarrassing?

Don't you go there on Friday's to walk? How do you normally get there? I'd offer a ride but we'll be relying on our feet and public transportation from the hotel. (PS, sorry to hear about your family's health problems lately.)

You can wear anything you want. Won't bother us. Kevin just won't "participate". ;)

About the only thing that embarrasses Kevin is, well, me. When I get too goofy. And he's finally getting used to it, after 11 years of marriage.

Usually I do, but its been weeks since I've been able to. Usually my mom or one of my brothers would drive me down. But with everything going on between my aunt and my grandparents welp I'm stuck home with the critters mostly lately.

*little laugh* Well I'm a giant nine year old so I'm sure your goofy streak will be brought out if I'm there. ;)
But I'll try to keep from embarrassing your hubby too much. Lest he push me in front of an oncoming parade float or something.

Oh speaking of which, my mom and I have matching big french ladies hats, I'm sure you've seen it in my Lady Dazzy Costume pic, and we have matching white feather fans. Care to borrow sunday if I can make it? ;)
