Name that MST3K episode then:
"I forgot to read the fine runes"
"I thought Jerry Garcia was father mushroom."
"Help me Obi-Wanoski"
"We spit on your doorstep. Puttoi, Puttoi."
"Still some landmines left in Narnia."
"Most folks are about as happy as they make up their minds to be." Abe Lincoln

Well Halloween on my street was pretty TAME this year...maybe a dozen or so groups of kids...

I have to toot my own horn - the Aswegan house was the best on the three blocks I covered with the boys this year...I'll try to post a link to a picture - but anyone interested in seeing a Yahoo photo album - PM me with your e-mail.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

We didn't have near as many kids as last year. I think a lot of it had to do with weather (it rained a lot today, and there was a chance of more rain tonight), and it being on Monday this year.

Heidi, sorry to hear about the rain. Weather here was very nice, like 75-degrees at 7PM and there were a ton of kids. I'd say at least 50 over the course of a couple of hours, more than last year.

Speaking of Halloween, here is the costume I came up with:

This was taken at the photo studio where I work. Can you tell who I am supposed to be? (not that the file name doesn't give it away...)

Hmm, with a jpg name like that it must an attempt at a neoclassical composer and conducter! Fooey on that romantic period and emotionalism!
Arms are clearly flailed while giving direction, and the french horns have your jacket flapping about. Thats why you're supposed to keep it buttoned. ;)

LOL! But if it's french horns you're talking about - the bell of the horn would be facing AWAY from the director, thus the cape is blowing the wrong way. ;)

By the way - nice photo. I bet that was fun to do.

clearly, they were of the romantic movement and sat facing away from the conductor in defiance of his neoclassical ways.
And then they wonder why they're having a hard time keeping time, but blame it on the non-emotionalistic orchestration. Tempermental bunch if you ask me. ;)
