TOPIC: Thanks for the card.

Thanks for the card. 18 years 6 months ago #1

While I have read the boards and seen both praise and bashing of TD. I must say that hearing a heartfelt thank from all the players and everyone makes me very proud to have been a volunteer and even just a bit piece of TD. All in all though I must say that getting a thank you card today from True Adventures LTD. was a great feeling it makes me even happier to have been a part of TD and I plan on going back next year for Indy if my school schedule allows. Thank you to everyone it was a great time.

Kevin and I also received a card, and made sure to send an email to the powers that be thanking them.

And if anyone hasn't gotten a card, please don't be upset. I'm sure there are some of you that Lori didn't get an address for, especially if you were a "walk-on volunteer" in Indy. ;)

Hopefully school should not conflict, as Gen Con is August 10-13 next year--a good two weeks earlier.

Yes the card was a much welcomed thank you, plus it helped let my mother know that I wasn't just lieing about what I was doing in Indy(she's a very perinod person). Thank you for letting me be a part of the coolness that is TD. I will definatlly be back next Indy.

As much as I'd like to take the credit here Gary, I cannot. Jeff made the suggestion and I said "I have blank cards and thank-you stamps. We could stamp our own cards". He ran with it. In fact, after he wrote all of the cards I had stamped for him, he kept writing and stamped his own cards. (gamer, stamper, all around good guy!)

Cards were but a simple thing we could do to make an attempt at expressing our gratitude for how thankful we are for everything everyone does to make TD and TH a reality.

Lori

PS...if you were a walk-on volunteer, please e-mail Lee, Jeff, or me with your contact information so that we can put you on the listing of volunteers!
Lori :-)

Yes, yes, Thank you for the card that was very sweet!
And also my family and I are very appreciative of all the efforts you made to look after me and make sure there was Joy-friendly food. Thank you so much Jeff and Lori for making me able to work TD at Indy.
