Very interesting idea. I think making something just one "step" faster would be a little less likely to cause some game breaking interaction. For example, a Standard Action would become a Free Action, and a Free Action would become Instant.

Another idea for Insight would require a character card change but you could give each class an Insight ability that makes sense for the class. Extra clue for the rogue on puzzles, automatic monster lore for the Bard.
I think this idea is weaker than my earlier thought but figured I’d put it out there anyway.

I'd like to see Enlightenment incorporate whatever insight has as a bonus. And a little more.

As in, Enlightenment is insight plus something else

Yeah - allowing everyone to get off one more attack in the first round or before combat than they are today is I think going to end up being not fun.

But allowing essentially for a round of prep could be fun, let spells like Ranger Barkskin, or some consumables get used more.
