I think it's better to have CoW stick to just the 21 TC as I think Jeff posted, that way players with them still have incentive to buy new TE URs. Plus, that gives TD a chance down the road to make a new transmute incorporating the new TE UR tokens.

It would be really nice to only ever have to show one token.

13 - CoA
6 - the three Beads
2 - bonus TC

3 - TC from treasure pulls
1 - From 6th Level Reward
6 - Nuggets
9 - Future TE

That gets you to 40. The CoW will never give you more than 21. The 40 cap is the 21 from the CoW plus the other 19 I mentioned.

Do I have all of that correct?

Is it the plan that there will only be 3 more TE tokens ever? If so, the cap for people without the CoW would be 38. Or will there be more TE tokens after the three, and even if what you have adds up to more than 40, you're capped at 40 TCs?

I pretty sure your understanding is correct.

Is max treasure a currently defined term or just slang for what is the max possible for the vast majority of players?

While one artifact that gives bonus treasure won't likely get used again, there's at least one that seems like it might still see some use. So, then have "Max Treasure is X and no tokens besides artifacts can cause someone to receive more than X treasure pulls for a ticket. Artifacts, however, can go above X." or whatever written into the rules?

Jeff’s initial reason for revamping was to make things simpler. I don’t think we can get much simpler than “grants player max treasure”.

It would also give players two options to get to max treasure. The more expensive way with CoW, or the less expensive way of obtaining the individual TE tokens.

Caveat, I do plan on crafting a CoW, but that’s a ways down the road.

This is so much less complicated

As much as I would loves "grants max treasure" I don't see TD wanting to give away those sales.

We know TEs are a huge portion of the market now. Why mess with that formula?

This was the original idea, it was ultimately dismissed (I believe) because it will eventually get to a point where you wont need future TEs. Maybe that's ok, but personally I lean to giving people a reason to want more tokens rather then less in the long term.

Define max treasure then?
