TOPIC: V28 Fri 848p NM Campaign Run (Full)

The campaign run returns for a new year! We are running at NM difficulty (sometimes NM+.) The same character card is used throughout the year (all VTDs for the year.) Spells don't refresh nor do class abilities unless something is explicitly stated in the adventure that the party gets to take a long rest between sessions.

We can help with builds, synergy items, and TE's

How likely is it that we get a "rest" between dungeons? As a wizard I wouldn't be much good when out of spells.

In the 2 years we've done it, it has happened 3-4 times so far so every 3ish sessions.

Generally, as a wizard, I recommend using expertise items for the free casting each combat and conserve every combat. The swap ability for the skull allows you to use a ring of spell storing once per dungeon and swap it out for something else (like expertise.) Since items reset every session, we find the wizards don't tend to run out of spells but need to be conservative about not using fireball twice in a dungeon, for example.

I tend to run cleric. Last year, I believe I had 3 slots left after all the VTD sessions, Gencon, and GHC.
