TOPIC: Fewer Runs on Friday

I would like to make an appeal for TD to reconsider the Friday schedule and add back the 10 runs now to avoid the mad rush this coming Friday. It won't help all the non-patron players if there isn't much left for them to select after Friday. I can see a reduction, but maybe cutting back from the previous runs of 25 to 20 would be better than going all the way down to 10. Looking back at the past year.

V18 November 2023 - 206 out of 250
V19 December 2023 - 239 out of 250
V20 January 2024 - No Friday tickets due to patron runs
V21 February 2024 - 196 out of 250
V22 March 2024 - 210 out of 230
V23 April 2024 - 210 out of 240
V24 May 2024 - 210 out of 250
V25 September 2024 - No Friday tickets due to patron runs

It seems to me that TD has consistently sold 200+ tickets on Friday nights. I get that a few runs might end up being light. I certainly don't want volunteers or TD people sitting around with no one to entertain, but really feels like demand is there for more than just the 10 runs on Friday. Just my opinion.

Edit: Another perspective. A typical VTD 3 day weekend would see about 150 unsold tickets on Saturday and Sunday. It may be that TD is hoping that by reducing available tickets on Friday that they can increase sales for Saturday and Sunday. I guess we'll find out. Saturday and Sunday did sell out for VTD25.

I am hoping to grab a late Sunday run. Thats Acadecon in Dayton OH. A small convention, but my hometown and a chance to hang out with my sister and niece and nephew.

After 5 minutes of ticket availability to patrons, Fri has no full runs and only 15 individual tickets left! Time to go ahead and add a few more Fri 5-6pm timeslots?

I think TD may need to reconsider how many Friday runs are available - there's definitely interest in them, if just the Patrons have claimed 90% of available tix in the first 10 mins.

Some slots might reappear (in fact, I think I just saw a full slot of 10 drop back in) but it's going to be slim pickings for the Adventurer's Guild and general ticket sales, for anyone who needs Friday.

Yep. I saw a couple of runs get added back, but then some of those sold again pretty quickly. Not sure you want to tell people that in order to run on Fridays they need to be a patron or know a patron. I think its currently down to 14 tickets left.
