Tokens that include the word "Mystic Staff" in their title and are weapons?

But keep in mind you can't attack with that particular type of weapon.

I don’t understand what you are saying.

Who can’t attack with what kind of weapon?

from the TD database - All mystic staves are magical Ranged weapons, but they do not shoot physical projectiles. Mystic staves cannot be used to make a melee attack–they are too fragile.

When I may a range attack with one in a recent run it was ruled as a physical range attack and not a spell like attack.

That all seems right to me.

They are ranged weapons, like a bow, except they use an alternate stat for to hit calculations.

They use your missile damage bonus, like all other ranged weapons.

You can attack with them, just like you can attack with a bow.

I think it's a bit of an eyesore and clutters up the UR tokens to have this word in such a prominent spot.

If not a dot, maybe a symbol or a “C”

Or - even better - leave core convertible URs without any mark at all, and put a dot on the ones you can’t convert, like large order incentives etc.

I agree, while it's nice to mark the tokens as Core, it does seem to clutter them a bit. I wonder if it's possible to stamp Core on the reverse side. I'm totally OK if they stay as-is though. I also wonder if eventually Core will shift from "2018 to present" to "2025 to present" (just ones marked as Core). Maybe that would be OK once most of the excess 2018-2024 URs are turned in.

General comment:
"Core" at the top of each of these tokens introduces a lot of visual clutter. If this is intended for the Safehold mechanic, this may only serve to confuse new players, as players who have invested into a Safehold would presumably know the rules for it.

Amulet of Folkvangr:
Is there a reason why this needs to powercreep Stu-pendous Pendant ? Why not just make it a functional reprint? We have precedent, with the honorarily named Dougal’s Cloak of the Stars having a functional reprint in Lucky Cloak .

Earcuff of the Cabal:
Why are Monks in the Cabal now? They should not be on this token.
Alternatively can we also induct Ranger and Paladin into the cabal, since they can use damage scrolls too?

I agree that it would be much better to have a reprint of Stu Pendous Amulet.

The Core token designation isn't just for mythic transmutes, it is used in non-Mythic transmutes also.

Omni token recipes also require Core URs.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

+1, especially for the symbol suggestion but any of these ideas would be an improvement

I've never loved the word "Bar" on GP tokens either, but at least I only see that when opening treasure or packing up transmutes, whereas I look at quite a few of my URs every time I play

Yes, my AC is lower than the Wizard's. No regrets!

+1. Agree it would be best to reprint Stu-Pendous Pendent

Amulet of Folkvangr
I believe 1 point of strength is going to be worth less than 1 point of dex (which gives you saves/ac along with +hit/+dmg) after the proposed rules go into effect, so this is basically stu's but balanced for the new proposed rules. It is also why it is probably okay that the Death Knight Helm is pushing what would be an appropriate amount of strength and AC on a head slot (pushing into what was relic territory).
