Bead Bracelets - I liked this more as a neck with the higher power level, hard choices in character building should be there.

Coin of Temptation - I do not see an issues with having this useable by all, I understand themeing with who would be able to do the rouge ability but even a barbarian can roll a 20 on an int check. I would love to see a drawback though if you fail, maybe you take puzzle damage for the difficulty or something. The name just sounds like it should have a drawback.

Shield of guarding - Im not sure why this change was made, paladins need the help and just giving them another guard isnt helping IMO. Adding the missile/ranged blocking was good enough that people would have to think about breaking sets for it, which is a good thing.

+1 on shield of guarding.

If people need to think about it they will PYP it, even if they don't use it all the time. URs should have a little FOMO to keep purchase up. ;)

Coin of Temptation? Does it activate if you start with a rogue and then the rogue dies and is not brought back? Or is it based on starting class selection only.

+2, is there any balance-related reason that Paladins shouldn't be able to use a UR token effect to guard against Ranged attacks?
I play Rogue. Occasionally I even play Rogue well.

Endgame wrote: Cleric is on the Redoubt shield, Templar shield, and most (all?) other shields. Cleric has always had access to heavy armor, so this fits in, and is inferior to the listed shields. Druid and Bard could be dropped.

My point was there had been a upper limit / size on AC for Clerics. Clerics were left off the Tower and the Redoubt relic (crap, need to triple check. Thanks Endgame) so was looking at large shields (aka max +3 not counting magic like the Phalanx), but (grrrrr) I missed Templar. I withdraw my objection to Cleric based on previous evidence.

Cleric is also on the blessed readout relic too :)

Bummer about the bead expander change, but I think I can make do without the 2 affected Ioun Stones.
Tenth level achieved! Now for the long journey to 11th level!

Bead of Celecia:
Missing (1/game) restriction, to match the Crown of Expertise .

Charm of Pointed Taunts:
I don't play Dwarf, but this feels weak -- it's only +3 to-hit, once per combat. Why would someone want this, when they can take a +2 STR charm for +1 to-hit and +1 damage, permanently?

Charm of the Hedgehog:
I think all synergistic tokens so far have had a smooth progression, increasing by a fixed amount each tier. Jumping from 5 to 8 to 10 feels a bit awkward in comparison. What is this were:
1-3: +5 | 4-5: +6 | 6-7: +7 | 8: +8 | 9: +9 | 10: +10
Or, if that's too many tiers, maybe make it:
1-3: +4 | 4-6: +6 | 7-9: +8 | 10: +10

Shield of Guarding:
Presumably, this stacks with the Amulet of Guarding . Does it stack with Ava’s +5 Holy Avenger ? Can you, in one room, Guard a total of four people?

I looked over these for common errors (e.g. wrong transmute category, missing hand icons, etc.), and didn't spot any.

+2 Rod of Focus: Could have its damage wheel knocked down by 1 on every number.

Bead Bracelets: Glad to see these moved to the wrist, and glad to see them at 2 instead of 3 beads.

Belt of the Hunter: I like this. Compared to Belt of the Deadshot (+2 to hit with ranged, +3 ranged damage, part of a leveling set) it seems like it could still be a bit better - but Belt of the Deadshot seemed too good to me so this is fine.

Charm of Pointed Taunts: I'm not sure why I'd get this when I can have a rare +2 to melee damage charm for < $10. Perhaps this could instead be the Fury effect vs. a taunted monster 1/game? (Fury effect = if slid attack hits, it is a crit, announce before sliding)

Charm of the Hedgehog: The first token I might get just for the art.

Charm of Valkyrie's Kiss: Would the phrasing "can make Melee attacks" fit better and be clearer than "may continue to do Melee attacks"

Coin of Temptation: I love the token FAQ entry saying in the event of disagreement who gets to use this is settled by rock paper scissors.

Death Knight Helm: +3 to strength in the head slot along with +2 AC and a set bonus is a substantial advance in melee power over what can go in that slot already (Crown of Might or Redoubt helm)

I'd tone this down to one of:
+1 to AC and +2 to STR (still better than Crown of Might)
No AC bonus and +3 to STR (plays into the Death Knight retribution theme by increasing the chances Retribution will trigger by getting hit)

If it will stay at +2 AC/+3 STR, consider tacking on a substantial downside, like -3 to will saves.

Holy Symbol of Selinwa: Needs a FAQ entry explaining whether a cleric can "turn undead" when no undead are present for the healing effect.

Picc's Grindstone: Might be nice to find room for a Runestone Fitting Base reprint in this set given the very powerful Rare runestones, and this effect.

Shield Maiden Bracers: Should have a class list, and that list:
-- Should exclude Rangers (rangers can't wield two handed melee weapons, and can't equip shields in melee).
-- Should probably exclude Monk, Rogue, and Wizards - who presently have no shields they can use

I assume this token doesn't allow you to equip a shield your class can not equip. It may be worth adding that to the FAQ.

Thor's Mug of Melee: Probably needs FAQ entry / TokenDB text that this token must be equipped in the melee offhand for the whole adventure.

I am still worried a bit that +4 to melee damage will cause some builds that would otherwise use a two handed melee weapon to be better off using a one handed melee weapon and this token. On the flip side, rare Brawler's Horn +2 to hit may be more desirable than this in a lot of situations anyway...

Iross wrote: Nightshade's Grim Gloves - needs additional text of "(does not stack with other 3x effects)", since these gloves should definitely not be combinable with the Assassin's Crossbow.

I think this should be unnecessary - I think the core rules should make clear that nothing ever crits more than 3x no matter how many crit multipliers are operating.

The "does 3x damage" text should also be replaced with "crits at 3x damage" to make it clear that the gloves are expanding the crit range and not just tripling the damage as a separate effect.

Good point - as written it appears that this would - for example - do triple damage to creatures that can't be hit with critical hits?

Lol - good catch. This should say 1/game.

Endgame wrote: As for power level, it’s a class restricted crown of might with a slight power increase to account for the class restriction.

Net of: +1 to STR, +1 or 2 to thrown weapon damage, +2 to AC is a "slight" power increase for a head slot item?

(Both participate in different set bounses as well, but realistically no one is using the might set bonus anymore, and the DK bonus is kind of meh).
