So I just played my first at gencon and wanna sign up for this how ever I didn’t ply any of the of chapters. Is it still possible?

You can play anything you wish! But please note, True Grind (next one is at Gamehole Con) is brutal and challenging by design, and intended as something generally for adventurers with more experience. But if you find a group who will help I think you'd be fine.

Normally nothing is required prior to playing in each run. There may be story elements you may have missed, but each new one starts out with a brief recap of what you "accomplished" prior to the new adventure, so you'll get an intro to where you are in the story at that time.
