Do you all bring just the tokens you’re going to use on the run or do you bring extras in case someone else can use something ? Also, I have an open “slotless” space. Should I just dump a heal pot or master work arrow in there ?

If folks are equipped for NM, I'd bet there's enough to share going around. On TDCC you'll always have open slotless space, since, well, slotless tokens don't fill any slots. You can have as many of those as you can carry with you into the Dungeon.

The slotless tokens most folks put in their build are things that offer a full-game benefit or a one-time use per game. Not consumables like potions or ammunition (which are also slotless, so I see how that could be confusing). Examples of slotless tokens that people equip in their builds: Auri’s Candle, Harlax’s Helpful Lamp, Gregor’s Tome of Focus, Grunnel’s Funnel, Horn of Calling, Horn of Rally, Lamp of the Marid, Lamp of the Efreeti.

Thanks !! Didn’t remember that ammo and pots were unlimited. It’s been awhile since I’ve played. Guess I need to run through the PH before Saturday lol. I have some extra charms/rings/stones, rare equip and consumables I’m not using, so I’ll bring those along in case anyone can use them. Maybe the other half of the party has a new player or two (like me) that could benefit.

You’re welcome. Just keep in mind that using a potion requires a standard action (unless you have a token that makes it a free action). So you can take as many as you want after a combat has ended, or in a puzzle room, but taking one during combat requires you to skip a turn. For ammo, the rules say you need to turn it in before the combat slide—no waiting until you see if you hit or not. (It can get a little hectic in a physical TD—I’ve seen people put it on the combat board before sliding and then telling the DM it is theirs as the DM works on resolving combat. YMMV.)

I typically bring all of my currently used tokens (no trade tokens or older ones)

Also, they usually accept the TDCC stats and you don't have to pull out all your tokens and lay them on the sheets. Just an FYI

I seem to remember there was some sort of incentive they gave you for doing that as well. Not sure if that's a relic of the pre-COVID days or not.
