2024 QTR Beta 5

Notes:

• We are not at the point where we're discussing recipes, so please don't even look at the 2024 recipe placeholders. If you see an error in the 2023 recipes, please report it.
• Since we're nearing the end, page and/or column breaks should pretty much be stable--other than in the 2024 recipes section.
• This is not the time to kvetch about which tokens did or did not get printed or about the wording printed on the tokens. That ship has sailed.

In each of the above, the description reads "+X to T saving throw", but should read "+X to T saves" for consistency with the printed text on the token and the 2023 QTR.

Alternatively, if going forwards you want to use "saving throw", then these three are still in the old "saves" format.

Regardless of how the above is changed, the description of these two should use capital-R Reflex.

Should the description of these omit "the [hireling]’s trainee (owner of this token) [gains/deals]" to simplify the wording and match the Underlings, with appropriate modifications to those specific to a mode of combat?

If not, "the champion’s trainee (owner of this token) +2 damage" is missing the word "deals".


[Page 8] Kilt of Divine Healing
The first paragraph ends with "any non-fractional way the caster sees fit", but the second ends with "All fractional healing points are dropped", which seems somewhat superfluous if the caster can still only split healing in a non-fractional way.

[Page 9] Mark of the 3rd Tenet
The parenthetical describing what extra Wisdom does is not in grey text, unlike other such instances of extra ability scores.

[Page 9] Omni Orb
The description reads "can be used instead of one transmuted token in certain transmutation recipes", which sounds like it can only be used to replace an Enhanced, Exalted, or Relic in recipes designated by TokenDB. Perhaps replace "one transmuted token" with "certain tokens"?
Additionally, the link to TokenDB goes to the wrong page; it should go to tokendb.com/token/omni-orb/

First off, thank you for all the great quemments!
To address this specific one, sometimes if I want to really drive home a point, I'll throw in some redundancy. This is one of those occasions.

2023 Recipe differences:
Boaz's Bead of Whispers
PDF: 10x Dwarven Steel
TokenDb: 15x Dwarven Steel

Greater Bead of Whispers
PDF: 15x Dwarven Steel
Tokendb: 10x Dwarven Steel

Vim's Boots of Protection
PDF: 15x Dwarven Steel

Also, tokendb has the Stalker Bead of Skill and the Stalker Bead of Focus listed as 2023 transmutes, not sure if their exclusion from the PDF is intentional or not.

"Ranged" vs "ranged"
Which is correct? 2023 QTR uses "Ranged" (including in the parenthetical for Dexterity modifiers) but PHB and 2024 QTR beta4 use "ranged" (including in the parenthetical for Dexterity modifiers) except for Charm of Horus and Lenses of Ra.

Pg. 14: Under the Dragonhide set, the underlining of "scale" in Dragonscale went awry. Also, the word "bonuses" near the end is missing an "s".

(Nit picking): Pg. 3: You are calling them "Conversion Initials", yet "Bar" is one of the options. Should the terms "Trade goods" and "Trade item" be changed to "Trade Token(s)" to be consistent with the web site, or at least be consistent within this paragraph?

Everywhere: The colors used for transmutes and hyperlinks are too close to each other.

Since neither Diseased nor Poisoned are "new conditions" but new takes on existing conditions, would it make more sense to say:

Conditions Updates for 2024

Do these conditions updates affect monsters as well?

... remove Diseased and Poisoned, respectively?

Pg. 6 : "Charm of Shared Recovery" seems to cut off at the end,

Followers, Hirelings, Underlings, and Stewards
All Followers and Follower Steward end with "see truedungeon.com/safehold for details on how Followers work".

All Hirelings end with "for details on how Hirelings work, see truedungeon.com/safehold".
Hireling Steward ends with "see truedungeon.com/safehold for details on how Hirelings work".

Underling Cleric, Underling Barbarian, and Underling Steward end with "for details on how Underlings work, see truedungeon.com/safehold"
The other six Underlings end with "see truedungeon.com/safehold for details on how Underlings work"

Can these be standardised?
