TOPIC: Patron V12 First Run Jan 13th 5:36p LFO - Themed Run?

Hello all! Isabelle and I had to move to the earliest slot to avoid a schedule conflict later that night. We're hoping to have others join us for the fun!

Last year Isabelle went for a "Mike Tyson" theme for her dwarf. She drew on the face tattoos and everything she said was actual Mike Tyson quotes. Very funny and also more than a little disturbing (but great fun) . Humor and shenanigans are expected.

Because this is a new slot that just opened up, I was hoping to put a group together possibly with a themed run. Since the run is a combination of Tomb or Horrors and Grunnel's baking disaster, that gives us some fodder for ideas. We could just do something thematic or do something that has mechanics implications.
Current Ideas:
Muppet adventures - especially with swedish chef's aplenty (speaking in Bork!Bork! would be strongly encouraged)
"Kill the Farmboy" series characters - with spell-casters summoning food to damage opponents, it seemed to fit what we know of the adventure
Team Grunnel - we're all dressed as goblins rescuing our lost comrade
Team Gib-Gub - we're dressed as squirrels (?) and are trying to finish Grunnel off! - sorry, had to kill this suggestion - the thought of the squirrel outfits is just disturbing...
Misplaced Sci-Fi characters - everyone picks a Sci Fi character that they imitate during the adventure. Having a Monk as Neo ("Whoa!"), a William Shatner ("Kaaaan!") cleric, Lucy Lawless fighter (not sure how to spell ululation sounds), Marvin from Hitchiker's guide (*sigh* "is there really a point to me killing them?"), Bard as Ruby Rod from 5th Element "I don't want one position! I want all the positions!", wizard as yoda ("lost a planet has he, how embarrassing"), etc.

Mechanic focused themed runs could be no magic allowed, turkey leg runs, gunslinger run, etc..

We don't have to do anything themed - just sounds like fun.

We will have full enhancers available for the group (Harlax's, etc..) Normally Patron runs don't require treasure tokens but we can help with those if needed.

Currently, we have:
Fred - Rogue (but flexible to switch as long as the replacement rogue agrees to "take the deal" if offered something to betray the party - it's a moral imperative)
Isabelle - Dw Fighter
Orion - Druid
Alan P - Elf Wizard
Alan +1 - fighter
Casey - Bard
Michael Derosa - Wizard

I like the misplaced characters one, though I'd be willing to purchase a goblin mask if we wanted to go that route. There's quite an array here:

I've acquired a second patron code, so a friend of mine is going to be joining us as a fighter. I think he'll fit into this group!

I am totally in for any of the proposed ideas the group wants to go with. Bonus points if we get to wear silly hats!

Because we have a smaller group so far and all know one another, we may be able to pull off a themed run.

This run has something to do with Grunnel and possibly bread or baking.

I recommend we all dress as and act as famous chefs!

Personally, I am thinking of being Remy from Ratatouille. The Swedish chef is another obvious choice.

Definitely open to other suggestions but chefs seemed to be funny.

I'm good with a chef themed run. Gonna brain on what I plan to do...

I love the chef themed run. I have something fun to wear for it.
