TOPIC: GH Con Changed Covid Policy

Odd to read about this change while at GenCon, which seems to be operating smoothly while requiring vaccines and masks this year.

I would have preferred GHC wait until next year to make changes considering that many have already booked travel, purchased tickets, and badges expecting the old rules. In general I think customers should know what to expect when spending money and that the rules shouldn’t change within a few months of a convention.

Edit: are you sure this is a change? I don’t see any indication that they changed the language from what has been on the website since registration. If this is the same as it has been, disregard my comments about making a last minute update.

Did something get deleted? The first post in the thread is Picc, and it sounds like he's reacting to something. Looking over their COVID policy I don't see a change, they've required proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test all year. Only thing I can see that might be a change is that if the country doesn't require it they won't mandate masks, but I don't really remember what their policy was for that.
