On the gloves transmute, if you're still reading this thread.

There is a bit of a problem of creep with damage gloves, though the creep is substantially higher on the melee side of things (net gain of +4 melee damage and 3x crits vs net gain of +2 melee damage and 3x crits where at least one token already has 3x crit).

-NOTE- there is potential for incredible damage increases for a melee monk that double crits - with the proposed token on a max damage melee build, a double crit would deal up to 489 damage(!). A likely more realistic single 3x crit with a standard hit would deal around 276 damage as well.

I would propose going back to a single transmute tree for the gloves, following a similar theme to the original post.

UR: +5 Dex, -2 str
Relic: +6 Dex, -1 str, 3x Damage On Ranged 20
Legendary: +7 Dex, 3x damage On Ranged 19-20

Per the spreadsheet of one of the posers early in the thread (Exbalz) The 3x Crit on 19-20 will outdamage Gloves of Greater Archery if you crit 10% of the time. A skilled slider will come out ahead on damage more often, and a less skilled slider less so. The +7 Dex assists in hitting and from my rather biased Cleric view, is desirable because it would let me equip Thor's on a Cleric build much more easily, even if it means I lose some damage in the process dropping STR gloves.

I may be focusing on the monk comment more than I should and if that is the case I apologize. As a monk player, I can say if you remove the melee version of the gloves this only prevents melee rangers from hitting double crits at x3 damage and not monks as a whole. If a monk has Benrows and focuses on a range build, they can still wear the ranged gloves and potentially double crit and hit high damage similar to the value you provided. TBH I have not done the math as I let others do that kinda thing, but I just felt it be fair to say monks will benefit from either set of gloves.
