I originally thought this might be a "transmute" as it's a better pun as a transmute, though I'm fine with it just being the TE that was suggested for 2023, the idea is bad pun, and limit a rare token from use if anyone in the party has this UR.

Charm of Gross Profit - net sails does not prevent targeting the user, +3 Treasure pulls at the end of the adventure. who says adventuring can't be profitable without net sails. So they could receive beneficial targeted buffs, and attacks against them, though they can't see anyone else unless the monster is using one also.

Then as a rare:
Net of Sails - one per room, delays combat one round. it's like "maze everyone" so folks can prepare themselves, cast "blanket" buff spells, and use their own potions, though the sheets protect against sharing liquids like potions (food) or targeted spells since the sails are in the way!

It is a pun, and I hope you consider it. I know that strange token interactions should probably be kept to Transmutes, maybe it's worth punning this hard on an ultra rare though.

Tricorne of Trinkets - head slot - Allows user to wear an additional neck item - no other benefit so the head slot is effectively sacrificed for an additional neck slot

Pantaloons of Penzance - wearer may not be directly targeted by a Pirate. (Does not prevent AoE attacks or pirate made traps) - yes this is a musical reference regarding pirates not attacking orphans so maybe these are Bard specific? The more I'm typing the more this sounds like a rare.... hmmmm.

Please don't ever reprint the Death Die. Or any other honorary named UR's

Because I'm not a fan of UR reprints, especially the ones that were dedicated to individuals. UR stands for Ultra Rare. Everytime one is reprinted they become less Ultra Rare. TD reprints certain UR's to allow new players easier access to them but in general there's lower demand for reprints then new ones because mid to long time players already have them, as do the big Token buyers. New UR's drive Token demand across all player bases.

I believe Death Knight Gauntlets did quite well based on current prices, despite being a functional reprint of Mithral Gauntlets. Same can be said for Charm Of Brooching, Charm Bracelets, etc, etc.

Death Knight was also part of better set. And Charm Bracelets are now part of a Relic Transmute which leads to a Legendary. For what it's worth I spent zero dollars on those three. Zero interest as I have plenty of them from before (have the Mithral Gauntlets). If there would have been three new cool UR's I would have dropped some dough. How well did Mad Evokers do?? Even as part of a transmute I don't think it was as near in demand as the first time. And anyone you know chasing Shield of the Scholar? Lenses of Divine Sight? Nope. CoS was reprinted and I think the only reason that did well was because of the transmute path. Re-print Harlax's in three or four years and none of the big Token buyers will be gobbling them up like they did this year.

When the market rate for an OOP UR reaches 2X+ PYP rates, then I think it's safe to say that demand is there from the player base, including newer players that are looking to move into UR+ builds, since after all, a growing player base also sells tokens.

We as a community have to realize some of our inherent biases and look to move past them when we're offered a chance to contribute to the legacy of a game.

It's okay for people to not spend the same amount of money every year, to even decline over time and even go to nothing eventually. The market is not one person. There are way more sales of tokens now than there were before by any attempt to interpret data from the outside.

I'm generally confused by the idea that "I don't need to buy every token" is a bad thing from an individual's perspective. But, then, I don't have infinite amounts of disposable income.

I agree with Ian 100% here.

Ideally, players that are running multiple legendary tokens should be getting nearly 0 upgrades from Ultra Rares anyway. If my Cleric build is finding ways to get better from Ultra Rares, for Example, it's probably a sign of creep, and creep kills games (see numerous Wizkids games). It's better for TD in the long run if I have no UR to buy for my Cleric build than it is to keep creeping every year to the point that no one is buying any. After all, what is the point in buying URs if what you buy today is going to be obsolete in a year or two?
