I have a 4th friend who doesnt care about the tokens if you guys want the ghost spot filled. I know one of my friends wants to play a barbarian which i have gear for not the greatest but its a start. The other friend would probably play a rogue. I can play anything the party needs.

Robert, your other friend can run my ghost (for free) he will get the 10 pack XP card completion token(s) and three treasure pulls. he will need to give up the following slots for TEs : neck, (1)ring, (1)charm and (3) ioun stones

Ok, looks like we have all players represented. What level do you folks want to play at?

I have plenty of tokens lo loan out if anyone wants. I can gear up a party for up to nightmare level, but absolutely no pressure I am fine with non-leathal if that is what the party wants (it is all the same to me)

This being our first ever run I'd like a reasonable chance at success. That said I also would not mind running at least Hardcore level so we can get the additional XP and Rare token.

Awesome responses everyone. I have played once before and only have about 15 tokens. I am a flexible on class and play mainly spellcasters in DND, etc. So looking at the breakdowns so far, I would be fine taking on Cleric, Bard, Wizard or Elf Wizard. Cleric or Bard would be either/or based on what is picked by others.

For gear, should we plan to loan out / compare tokens onsite / in INDY pre run or should I list out what I have here for advice? I doubt I have any truly decent gear for any class TBH, having only 15 chips to pick from.

Looking forward to this!!!

I am up for whatever level challenges party, let's newbies have fun / not get overrun, gets us most benefits, and also let's experienced players be engaged. I am not sure how that translates to TD levels, Non-Lethal and Epic seem too extreme on either end. I am fine with any of the middle three levels as long as everyone has fun. I honestly don't know the nuances or differences enough to pick one. I just don't want to be bored (too easy) or Slaughtered (too tough).

Would it be helpful to actually meet up before run to grab a beverage and compare builds / gear? I am on site starting Monday of that week. I would be happy to provide contact info outside of this forum if folks are comfortable with IRL meet up pre run.

Put me down for Wizard/Elf/Wizard or Bard (pended Kusig's choice). I seem to have the best tokens for those builds on hand.

I updated the class/difficulty preferences in the last post on the first page.

In terms of difficulty, I see most people gravitate toward one of these:

Normal: Standard Exp, Uncommon participation token
Hardcore: More Exp, Rare participation token
Nightmare: Same Exp as Hardcore, Uncommon and Rare participation token

The puzzles are usually the same for all difficulty levels, you just take more damage if you fail. Although sometimes you get a more challenging version of the same puzzle on higher difficulty.

Combats are obviously tougher on the higher difficulties.

I am fine with any of those difficulties. Just glad I can play TD in person after a 3 year gap! :)

Once we decide on the difficulty, then we can make decisions on gear.

Any votes?

I have no vote. you all decide what level to play at and I will do my best to make it work.

Ok, cool.

Let's tentatively set this as a Hardcore run unless anyone objects.

I'll go ahead and take cleric unless someone really wants it.

How does everyone's build look for Hardcore?
