TOPIC: Transmuted Elder Orb of Dragonkind allows Duplicate Orbs in Recipe

I will say this, I definitely paid triple for an older orb to make 5 unique, under the prior statements.

I'm not necessarily mad about it, though I don't like it either.

I definitely like that more orbs will be made, so in that regard I'm happy for the game in general.

All in all, a net positive, but quite a small one. I could have spent that money on other tokens I've had my eye on.

Would it be to late for something like plat or some other special colored backs for orbs made with 5+ different orbs.

I'm neutral either way, not making one but I like to brainstorm.

I love the idea,though I doubt there are many of the first or second orbs that aren't already earmarked for an Eldest orb, or someone's completionist needs.

Maybe there could be two recipes, like there were for the Charm of Avarice for those that had the HoP/RoR/CoGF. The recipe for five different orbs could have less other ingredients (maybe no GP or Golden Fleece requirement, or maybe no non-orb ingredients at all), while the recipe for five of any orb could be as written. It wouldn't change the current recipe, it would just add an alternate recipe for five different orbs.

I love this idea. Have the unique recipe variation be onyx or Platinum. That would also increase the value of those for collectors. I don't think these were being printed off-shore so it might still be possible.

I guess the downside might be for collectors that want one of every token, suddenly they need five more Dragon Orbs because there's a new variant to collect.
