TOPIC: Focus set

Im making this post to ask why we have so many named "Focus" Items and there is not set for them. I feel that there should be some kind of set bonuses for having them equipped. It would not only be nice to have a second set that benefits casters but it would also create a-lot of fun choices on builds, especially in the pants slot the ring slot and the upcoming shirt slot. Since there are more focus items are sure to be printed I feel it is worthwhile to seriously consider it. As it stands there are seven unique focus items with two of them being class specific(rod and staff) giving both classes 6 possible to be equipped.

potential set bonuses:
- +1 level similar to the charming set
- negate spell resistance
- re-slide on missed spell slide

After a search, I did not see this brought up anywhere else.

A focus set is a nice idea, but I think it would be unlikely to include items which already exist since set bonuses don't tend to include current or future tokens, e.g. the Lucky set does not include Bead of the Lucky Traveler, the Wind set doesn't include Charm of the Wind, etc.

Possibly this is to avoid changing the function or value of older tokens, although that wouldn't be much of an issue for the existing Focus tokens.

While a Focus Set would be great, the word focus tells us basically what it does (I know there are some variations). It is similar to seeing Heroism or Might (not mighty) on a token. Those make you 5th level (need 3 with Might set). Search the Token Database for the word folio and you will see more words like this. Sometimes it is better to standardize things rather than making everything cryptic IMHO.

Fewer keywords makes for easier understanding. three hips for easy to remember, hip hip hip horay!

As for a caster set, Deadshot, while not specifically a “caster” set does great things; it’s not “optimized” necessarily though.
