If volunteers had awesome sets, I would think it would be really cool. Like a +1 level set bonus, or +1 all stats, or immune to surprise and free action, etc.

I like the idea of a champion set giving a level bonus (or that they could be transmuted into a level bump item.)

For potential simplification, could count as elements of either the dead eye or the might set (might set being much more potent than dead eye though maybe less available). Is it dead eye? I haven't memorized the 2022 tokens yet.

I like the idea especially if we leave this as limited to specific volunteer tokens with a limited number of sets they could fill in for, however I feel like we would have to limit how many can stand in for the missing tokens and limit the number of sets you can use them for at a time. It would probably be easier to make a new set bonus. When I think of Champions, I tend to think of characters that are a bit more than the average person, who tend to be a bit luckier and take more damage. I think modeling it after the might set could be worth while but instead of damage maybe add something like saves or DR. I made a mockup but I cant say is is very spectacular or volunteer worthy.

Duo - +1 lvl
Trio - +1 Save
Quartet - +2 damage reduction
