Viva mas, and it’s a poem book, or limerick libram. I don’t think they need to be the same, the idea is cool though.

the idea is very cool. Bard usually gets tossed on a bunch of things because, well, bard. Bard could be limited to uncommon and common scrolls, and it would still be awesome.

I do not want bard thrown on the wizard item, I think there could be a cool token for bards to use and a cool token that wizards could use

Bard has access to a large number of single target and group wide healing spells, that's something they don't have access to on their spell card.

Giving Bards the ability to cast scrolls as spells without consuming the scrolls as the suggested design of the Wizard spellbook could very well alter their position within the group, pushing them into the position of a core healer class.

Probably best to keep the spellbook focused on Wizards and consider such an item for Bards separately

If they both used scrolls, it probably wouldn’t be a good use of UR slots to make them separate just because.

Now if the lyrical libram had something to do with mixing bard instrument effects and spell slots, then it would justify a separate token.

Probably best to just not try to add Bard onto the spellbook item in the first place

Agree. Spellbook for Wizards. Poembook for Bards. Two different transmute paths.

I don't think we've ever had a branching path transmute, that would be interesting, but while I agree bards need love too, I don't think this is the place for it. Spellbooks should probably be a wizard only thing (especially after the feelings surrounding the MEC changes last year.)

Might be best to give Wizards a year to rest due to the feelings and concentrate on a Poem Book for Bards in 2022.

That sounds like the one option more likely to upset Wizards more.

Guess I need to get Bards to be more vocal on the forums to get their Poem Book as a transmute for 2022.

Given we were specifically promised to have a spell book this year, yeah. that'd be a great way to upset Wizards even more than we were last year.

I can understand that bards can use some form of additional tokens but I see no reason why they would be rolled into a very Wizard specific item like a Wizard's spellbook.
