I'm going to have to transmute one for the event and keep an extra set of teeth, that I bought to trade, for the semi lich skull because 7 max hp is better than current psychic abilities. If you're a casting class an argument can be made for the +spell/healing from eldritch, but for everybody else I would think they would take the 7 max hp over psychic.

.... as someone who doesn't have any teeth (of Cavadar), it seems an odd thing to not want to transmute them over something so small. If there was a token that said gain +1 damage but lose 5 HP, you would certainly think about equipping it. Similarly, you don't know what cool thing will be at the event. In the hypothetical case there is some permanent effect announced at the event (which might be after the deadline to craft it), you will be fuming mad then.

This token is also part of the Eldritch set, and (in combo with other eldritch tokens) grants +1 level, and extra healing power.... that is certainly (to me) worth a lot more than 5hp!

Not as a Wizard currently using Mad Evoker's Charm, Boots of the Four Winds and Kilt of Dungeonbane. I'd take 7HP over 1 spell damage in most scenerios.

Then again I have enough teeth to make the skull and keep a set of 7 around. It just seems odd that keeping a set untransmuted would be something even in consideration.

I suggest (and did so in another thread as well) that we add the skull to the recipie, and add +7HP to the result.

Also, I'm sure the ship has sailed, but I would lm ove +4 Con over +10 HP on the Elfstone.

I still am thrilled with everything about the Elfstone.

Not a fan of the RFID. I really prefer the metal core as opposed to the flimsy feel of the new CoA. Not sure if anyone else feels similarly.

...and +1 melee, missle, spell damage so it's even more valuable.

As for the Elfstone Shard, I wouldn't change a thing. It's easy to understand, desirable for all, and a fun tribute. My problem is figuring out what Ioun Stones I will be dropping because of this and the Platinum Nugget. But having too many good choices is a good problem to have.

I'm surprised that folks are seriously considering holding back $7000 worth of 'bonuses' for slotless 7hp.

The folks at TD make this game because it brings all of us joy. Holding back transmuting the teeth, and thus depriving you or another player the joy of attending the event is just

An ultimatum of "both or boycott" is super uncool.

I sincerely hope that everyone who has access to all 7 teeth makes the Skull and either attends the event or sells the ticket so another player gets to.

The Semi Lich Skull's purpose was always made clear, that why I personally skipped it as I knew I would be transmuting my set of teeth. The same argument could be made for reprints. I have Onyx Mithral Gauntlets and Earcuff of Orbits. Both values dropped due to the reprints this year when I could have sold them for a lot. Should I have been made aware so I could have cashed out? (No!)

The final skull gives me 1 subclass per year. Which is cool but limited to 1 use per year.

The semi lich skull gives me 7HP on every run.

The overall change to me as an eldritch user currently sitting at 2 piece is +1 spell damage (I do not use melee or ranged)

So my choice is +1 Spell Damage or +7 HP.

That's not a cut and dry decision for someone who uses mad evoker's charm.

I'm NOT saying boycott or both I'm asking for a middle ground on the final token.

Also where the hell are you getting $7000 worth of bonuses?

Also they are MY teeth, I purchased them, how would I be depriving another player of attending the event? It's my choice.
