16-20 on Divine Intervention seems pretty broken, it seems like auto-granting the special abilities on the max hit could lead to a lot of instant kills.


Players with auto-kill weapons will still have to slide the usual 20 for the auto-kill to trigger. Divine Intervention just rotates the tokens so that the damage lines up. But the slides happen after the Divine Intervention is activated. So it isn't like the Cleric can trigger it knowing that someone is already on the 20.

A free Fallen Star or Gem of Last Hope 1/game can be incredibly powerful at Relic.

It also takes a lot away from the value of Sacrifice for the Paladin.

It's fine, raising the dead is something Clerics do, but it is quite powerful.

Agreed, I didnt say it was OP, just that the relic is powerful.

I like it, I'll definitely make sure our group has one ( or more depending on participants).

Just to verify; a player can decline this ability, correct? I'm thinking assassin or paladin who slide their special damage value that is NOT max damage - can they choose to keep lower number so they can get special ability?

I liked someone's earlier suggestion that a natural 1 is Your god is angry with you. The cleric takes 10 pts. of Divine damage.

Nah, on a 1 "All Druids in any Dungeon take 1 point of damage"

How does the timing work on the full heal. Is it an action, free action, instant action?
