Boots of Ogre Mage Power and Gloves of Dire Bear Strength in the same year seems unwise. Maybe swap the boots to something else.

Charm of bonding hurts Rangers and Monks as both use more than 1 melee and ranged weapon.

Ring of Power is a strict downgrade over the Charm of Power due to slot limitations.

Ring of Quick Prayer in the hands of Druids grants them a large boon in double damage spell rounds. This seems likely to push them ahead of Wizards as spellcasters?

Thank you for the update. Since you are taking the intelligence requirement out the MEC, will you be doing something with INT in the future? Maybe if you develop the tome slot, or familiar/pet slot, you get a second slot if you’re over 20 INT. Or maybe INT modifier gets added to spell damage (though the elf wizard would be less than the wizard there). I’d hate see see the Starhide and Sunhide robes get devalued. Could be fun to add some other INT modifiers next year if you do something like this.

Well, thank all you folks for putting up with this crazy design process! I know it can be maddening at times, but for some reason this whole insane process works out in the end. Mostly.

As I'm really hoping for few changes to the URs at this point, I don't have a problem with the intent, but I'm not entirely sure this works cleanly. Wouldn't most builds get this on party card and someone could *gasp* cheat?!? Since cheating is easy, the more relevant concern is that it seems to be addressing a problem I have never noticed on my runs, but, then, I don't spend a lot of time worrying about what other people are doing.

Oh, I guess it is also crazy powerful as a charm since it's +4 Str and some portion of +4 Dex. Like, I couldn't imagine ever not running this if I bothered to use weapons at all. If it were +1/+1, it seems closer to comparable tokens.

+4 Rod of the Meek - It's happening!!! (Maybe)

Boots of Ogre Mage Power - a decent pickup for newer players. Could also just be: +3 to melee damage.

Cranston's Helpful Hat still too good in my opinion. +3 ranged damage in the head slot seems like a fine UR on it's own.

MeC - The distressed look is fun.

Nightshade's - Nice to put the 6/10-SA right there - one less thing to worry about.

Ring of Power - nice art. Ring slot makes for interesting tradeoffs (and it's just great for UR level players who are concerned about running out of spells).

Ring of Quick Prayer - I'll talk more in a separate post, maybe, after I read the transmutes.

I liked the anti-ranger/anti-monk aspect. Could limit to certain classes.

Maybe simply

You may not change your equipped melee or ranged weapons to other weapons this game


also PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE check the update on Ranged Attacks. It's invalidating 75% of spell damage to sliding spells. I don't have words for how bad this will be

1 more push: Ring of Power should be same effect but called Ring of Expertise. “Of Power” as a token generally meant “recast as scroll” while “of Expertise” meant “cast without marking it off of the card”. Expertise better first with the written effect.

Without a per room restriction like the Wizard legendary has I have to imagine they might be able to. I'll work up the numbers tomorrow. They already have a free "baby MEC" with spell surge which will always be an enticing target for up to two restore powers a cleric would have.

I'm not suggesting adding a per room restriction to the Ring of Quick Prayer. I do suggest considering dropping the Druid from it because the cleric has more limited damage spells which are harder to use than the druid can cast.

Edit: I just saw they were removed from the Ring of Power. I alter my suggestion to remove them from Ring of Quick Prayer and put them on Ring of Power.

Could Druids get on Ring of Power please?

Charm of Bonding looks interesting and strong.

Like the reprints, like the lucky cloak, looks like a cool year of fun stuff for lots of people.
