Be careful. Unlike most (all?) other class Relics/Legendaries, it looks like the UR powers aren't part of the Relic/Legendary. So you'll need to equip the UR Charm as well for full benefit.

Should the Necklace of Sacred Beads read "May cast 2nd level Spells AND Restore Spell as a Free Action," if the cleric can do both?

Bake it into the relic and legendary for the cleric like the wizard. Change the wizard UR to do same as cleric on 1st level spells and +3 bonus on success skill test.

Both classes benefit from having to equip a charm with the relic or legendary. Win-win.

I honestly can't remember the last time I died prior to Room 7. This is extremely situational.

If we are going to move away from expanded crit, I like the so called "swift strike" better.

Cleric transmute: not a fan of effectively having to give up Neck plus Charm for full effect of transmute path unlike other classes. But if that's what the needed cost is, I'll pay it to get these effects.

Fighter transmute: like it overall except the one round of combat after death. Feels a bit weak and as mentioned already it starts to step on Barbarian.

Wizard transmute: this incarnation leaves me thinking that Wizard may be the only class transmute I don't try to make. As a class dabbler, I don't have the headspace to memorize every class's skill test. So Relic gives nothing to me over UR. And while Legendary would give me something, that's a pretty heavy toll to pay just for 4 FA extra spells.

Mage Medallion - I like the boost to making spell checks more powerful. The loss of the Free Action spells really hurts.

Could we add "May cast level 0 spells as a Free Action"

That gives us back a bit of that free action love?

I’m ok with that. It makes one hand versus two handed a strategic choice with a trade off.
