TOPIC: 2021 Common Feedback Part Two

Truly the token Pun committee is outdoing itself this year!

Maybe call this a Lens of Common Sense because:

a. The art has but one lens.
b. "through the lens of common sense" is a phrase
?

Sorry, I am a dad...and I can't help myself with the puns.

The "common sense" more refers to using Common weapon to sense a better way to do more damage. I know...I have seen that look from my kids before.

We probably should get it plural so newbies don't think they can equip another Lens.

Jeff, is there any room for any gear tokens? I miss seeing stuff like rope, grappling hook, mortar & pestle, turkey leg, etc. If there just isn't room for them in a 40 token common set, have you considered expanding the common set to 50 or 60 tokens? Maybe with all the slots added over the years the token set will eventually have to expand a bit?

I would guess they are being skipped since most people likely immediately turn those into Planks and not worry about carrying them due to weight issues. Encumbrance IS a thing in real life, unlike it being ignored in most RPG adventures. Admittedly I do carry a set of gear into my TD runs, more of a “be prepared” issue.

Of course, they could be getting skipped to make sealed runs have useful pulls. “Well, no sword or armor for me, but I have rope and flint & steel!” Granted, others or the coach can provide them, but new players would likely want to pull their own stuff.
Tenth level achieved! Now for the long journey to 11th level!
