Thanks Jeff. I like the token design. Eagerly waiting to see answers to the questions regarding semi-lich skull. I'm really hoping not to have to lug around 7 individual teeth any more.

I have hope for Gencon in 2021. Not expectation, but hope.

Hope is better than despair.

I hope they let you cross the border. And then let you back.

Yeah I miss my TD family and friends and I miss coordinating all of your experiences. The sooner I can see you all again, the better.

I dont even have a single tooth of Cavadar, I was just curious what the skull would do and I'm trying to be more active in the community.

Just an idea -

Since the psychic powers seem to be a little lackluster for combat when compared to other Eldritch items, perhaps *the event* could be a mini-dungeon with a story where adventurers unlock the inert power of the Skull of Cavadar.

After successful completion, the skull's owner selects which power to imbue their skull with.

Each Skull of Cavadar is assigned a unique number (similar to Rod of Seven Parts) and the imbued power stays with that skull of Cavadar forever.

Some possible powers subject to balancing:
+ healing done
+ *insert elemental type* damage done
+ damage mitigation
+ rebirth/ankh/reincarnation

Something like this could put them on a similar power level for combat to the other Eldritch items.

Like many, I'm eagerly awaiting answers to some of the questions too, which is kind of funny since it's my husband who has the set of teeth lol. I need to pester him to visit the forums more... And we too have already started talking about gencon 2021 in a tentatively hopeful way, but it is nice to know you guys are already thinking of 2022 just in case things require it.

I hope that the Skull of Cavadar imbues Psychic Power on it's own and doesn't require another token to do it. It would seem like a pretty weak Eldritch Token if it needed help to give Psychic power. I also hope it does something extra on an ongoing basis and not just that one time event. I'd even be fine with doing something extra on an ongoing basis instead of doing the ongoing event. Maybe the Level 8 Psychic Ability should be a neat Psychic ability added to the other seven that could be chosen once per adventure, and the event if it happens would be an extra bonus.

Friendly reminder that the skull is more like the Ro7P than the 3 Eldritch Relics. Rod doesn’t have much power on its own, it only gives access to the sub classes beyond what the segments do. The Rod like the teeth were bonuses upon purchases, not UR’s to be transmuted. If the completed skull is not overally powerful it would seem in line to me.

I think this is a really cool idea.

I like the flexibility but how would one know what choice was made if trading for one?

I’ll be honest, those sub classes are huge. Ongoing subclasses are even bigger.

Combined effect and maybe a bit extra.

Same thought for the Dragon Orbs since they were bonuses upon purchases also but factor in the less frequency the were given out (1/8 as much).

I think the intent is to have the effect printed on the Token.

I assume that we’ll need to turn in Teeth 1-7 to obtain the Skull. Because the Tier 8 power is access to a one-time only event, I do hope that the Skull imbues psychic power generally, and grants access to one of the usual psychic powers per game (two if you are wearing a Dark Disciple’s Shirt). It would seem odd to go from being able to use any of the in-game psychic powers to having none because you turned in all your Teeth.
